Welcome to Casstle of Clay! Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before making a purchase or booking a class or workshop. By making a payment, you agree to these terms.

1. General Business Practices

• All items and services are handmade and provided with care.

• Payments can be made via PayPal or in cash at the time of booking or purchase.

• Collection for items and attendance at classes/workshops is at Silbersteinstr. 95, 12051 Berlin.

2. Product Sales

Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht):

• For In-Person Purchases:
  Items purchased in person are final. The right of withdrawal does not apply.

• For Distance Purchases (e.g., PayPal):
  If payment is made online but the item is collected in person, the purchase is considered final once the item is picked up.

  • Exception: If an item is defective or misrepresented, please notify us immediately upon collection.

Custom and Personalized Items:

• Items made to order or personalized are excluded from the right of withdrawal, even for distance purchases.

Warranty (Gewährleistungspflicht):

• All items are covered by the German statutory warranty:

  • Two years for new items.

  • If an item is defective, customers may request a repair or replacement. If this is not possible, a refund or price reduction will be offered.

• Please inspect your item upon collection to confirm satisfaction.

3. Booking Classes or Workshops

Satisfaction Policy:

• Workshops and classes at Casstle of Clay are designed to inspire creativity, teach new skills, and provide a rewarding experience. However, the final results of your project may vary depending on individual skill, experience, and effort.

• While we are here to guide and support you throughout the process, Casstle of Clay cannot guarantee that the final results will meet specific expectations.

Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht):

• For services purchased online or via PayPal, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies unless:

  • The class or workshop begins within the 14-day period, AND

  • You explicitly waive this right by agreeing to these terms when booking.

  • Example Clause: By booking this class/workshop, you agree that the service will begin within the withdrawal period and waive your right of withdrawal once the class or workshop has been provided.

Cancellation and Refund Policy (Stornierungsbedingungen):

• Cancellations Made More Than 7 Days Before the Class: Eligible for a full refund.

• Cancellations Made Less Than 7 Days Before the Class: Eligible for a 50% refund.

• Cancellations Made Less Than 48 Hours Before the Class or No-Shows: No refund will be issued.

Rescheduling Policy:

• If you need to reschedule your class or workshop, please contact us at least 48 hours before the class. We will do our best to accommodate you based on availability.

• Rescheduling is subject to availability and may be limited to one reschedule per booking. Any further requests to reschedule will be treated as cancellations, and our regular cancellation policy will apply.

No Refund for Completed Services:

• Once a class or workshop has been attended, no refunds will be provided.

4. Payment and Reservation Policy

• Reservations for items, classes, or workshops are only confirmed upon receipt of payment.

• For workshops and classes, payment secures your spot and materials.

5. Collection of Items

• All items must be collected in person from Silbersteinstr. 95, 12051 Berlin.

• Customers are encouraged to inspect their items during collection.

6. Custom Orders

• Custom or personalized orders cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective.

​

7. Liability

• Casstle of Clay is not responsible for damages caused by improper use or handling of purchased items.

• In workshops, participants are responsible for their own safety and personal belongings.

• For Classes and Workshops: Casstle of Clay is not responsible for dissatisfaction with the final results of the project created during the session.

8. Data Protection

• Privacy Notice: We respect your privacy and handle your personal data in compliance with GDPR. The information you provide will only be used to process your order, bookings, and communication related to your purchase or class.

• We will not share your data with any third parties, except where required for payment processing (e.g., PayPal).

• By providing your contact details, you consent to receive necessary communications regarding your bookings, purchases, and services from Casstle of Clay.

9. Minimum Age for Workshops

• Age Requirement: To participate in workshops, participants must be at least 16 years old. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

• If you are booking for a child, please inform us in advance to ensure we can accommodate them appropriately.
