No kiln of your own? Send your pieces to the castle, and let the fire do its magic.
How it works
If you don't have access to a kiln, I offer professional kiln firing so you can focus on the making, and leave the fire-breathing to me.
Simply bring your bisque or glazed pieces to the gates (drop-off by appointment), and I'll take it from there. To make sure every firing goes smoothly, I'll need the exact clay body and glaze references for each piece — even castles have their rules, and this one keeps your pieces safe from kiln surprises.

Just €10/kg to cross the moat.
What the kiln can handle
The castle's furnace reaches up to 1240°C, with room for pieces up to Ø 40 cm × H 45.5 cm. Got something too big for the throne room? Get in touch and let's see what we can do.
Timing
Standard turnaround is about 1 month: good things take siege time. Need it faster? Speedy firings can sometimes be arranged, just knock on the gate beforehand so we can find a way.
Booking & payment
Drop-off and pick-up by appointment only. Payment due at the gates, cash or PayPal.
A word of caution
Every castle has its dragon, and mine breathes fire at 1240°C. Even with the right materials and information, kilns can be unpredictable. While I take the greatest care with every piece, I can't be held responsible for breakage, cracking, or glaze defects during firing.
Insurance
All visitors to the castle for firings must carry valid liability insurance.
