"Tenir la Chandelle"- 2024 - Candle Holder Frame
This piece playfully interprets the French expression "Tenir la Chandelle" (literally, "holding the candle") in a literal and artistic way.
The clay has been left intentionally unglazed, showcasing its raw, natural beauty. When used as a candle holder, dripping wax will gradually darken the surface and alter its texture, giving each piece a unique, evolving character over time.
Note: The unglazed finish means the clay is not fully waterproof, making the wax marks a part of its organic story.
